The objectives of Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management are to train the young aspirants who believe entering the tourism, hospitality and service industry, educate themselves by providing high quality training and above all planning for their highest career development, in response to the fastest growing fields of employment in the present world.

While designing the syllabus, highest emphasis is given to continuing education with a view to upgrading the knowledge and skills in the professional field of tourism, hospitality and service industry, as well as to meet the ever changing demand of the fastest expanding sector of the economy.

To accomplish the mission of the institute, Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management gives great emphasize in managing the faculty of the highest quality with international exposure, who are the beacons of the tourism and hospitality industry in Bangladesh. The Faculties are not only the faculty members, they play the role in decision making process and they share their strongest sense belongingness to the institute to a great extent.
